Bill, My Brother-In-Law was hospitalized in Olympia, Wa, with
a brain clot in his brain, that was possibly a stroke also.
He is paralyzed on the right side of his body, and has lost
his speech ability. He is out of ICU and into a hospital room.
He will need some prayers with his recovery and physical therapy.

Hello, Friends and Family:
I am delighted to tell
you that our son, Mark, has just been approved as a long-term
missionary to the nation of Thailand by the Assemblies of
God World Missions Board.
Now, he confronts the
significant task of raising the funds and commitments required
before he is released to actually go to the mission field
to which he is appointed. He will be raising that support
from churches and individuals, both cash donations and pledges
of monthly support, for what normally is a period of 12
to 18 months. It will be good for him, though, to share
with others his commitment to the Lord and to the Thai people;
and, the process of communicating with others will further
hone his vision.
As you think of it, say
a prayer now again that he will find favor, will raise his
budget and will become even better prepared for his lifes
calling.
Thanks,
Dave and Penny
9-5-09 - Just to update
everyone about Elmer's surgery.Surgery went well. They did
5 bi-passes. We saw him in ICU about 8:00 tonight, Thursday.
He is still hooked up to the ventilator and numerous other
tubes and stuff. But the doctor was very pleased with how
everything went. Thank you all for your prayers. We so very
much appreciate all the love and concern.Continue to pray
for a full and uncomplicated recovery.
With much love
JoAnne
9-3-09 - Please pray for
Elmer Hintz - He is having 5 by-pass heart surgery at 1:30
today at St. Pats. Dr. Maxwell is doing the operation. His
lung capacitie in only 36% and if it were at 35% they would
not do the surgery. Pray that his lungs hold out during the
surgery.
Thanks

9-3-09 - (Nancy is a cancer
survivor from ten years ago. Now it has come back again!)
- W.B. This time it is a lymphoma in my left lung. Today I
have 2 more tests to check the rest of my body. I just pray
that is the only location. I know it was caught early and
I will survive! Just another challenge on the road of life!
Thanks Bill! Nancy S.
8/31/09 - HI BILL, PLEASE ASK THE PRAYER WARRIORS
TO PRAY FOR MY DAUGHTER'S FAMILY(TWO GIRLS, 9 YRS, AND 12
YRS) MY DAUGHTER PASSED AWAY UNEXPECTEDLY, SUNDAY MORNING
AND IT HAS HIT THE WHOLE FAMILY VERY HARD. SHE WAS ONLY 30
YRS OLD. SHE WAS MY YOUNGEST. THANK YOU, PASTOR DOUG AND ROSE
ADAMS
8/26/09 - Please pray for Alex Golf who is
a young man who should be starting his senior year in High
School. Instead he is an emergency condition with a severe
infection which occurred in a drainage tube from his brain
that was placed to drain a cyst in his head. He is the only
child of Laurie and Paul Golf who live in San Jose, California.
I ask all the readers who read this to say a prayer for Alex
as he faces this very serious situation. Thank you each so
much and may God bless us all. Joyce C.
8-26-09 - I also have a prayer request for
your prayer wall: My friend Dan Lund is very sick with stomach
and esophagal cancer. He has already been through a lot in
his brief life as he has developmental disabilities and has
had a kidney transplant. (He is 48.) They cannot treat the
cancer with drugs or chemo because of his transplant. He is
on hospice now. I know God works miracles, both in life and
through death so if it is Dannies time I pray he will not
have to suffer. I also know God has the power to heal him
if it is His will, so I ask that Gods will be done in Dans
life.
